The President and Vice-President help the club find direction, coordinate priorities and support the people doing the work.
The membership team and Secretary help people connect with the club and keep its meetings and records organised.
Project teams turn community needs into opportunities for volunteers, partners and members to contribute.
The Treasurer and fundraising team support careful stewardship, budgets and relationships with supporters.
Professional and leadership development creates space to share knowledge, build confidence and learn from one another.
Communications brings the club's stories to life and helps people discover opportunities to get involved.
Leadership is a practice
A title is one way to take responsibility. Everyday habits are another. These are practical ways to begin contributing to a team while building your own confidence.
Agree what is needed, when it is due and who depends on it. Follow through, and ask early if you need help.
Invite questions, listen across different perspectives and make decisions understandable to everyone involved.
Ask for feedback after a meeting or project. Share what you learned so the next person can build on it.
Leave clear notes, useful contacts and a record of decisions. Good work should be possible to continue after you.

Learning beyond one club
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) brings people together for leadership learning organised by clubs and districts. Experiences can include communication, problem-solving and learning with peers.
Local organisers determine eligibility, applications and costs. Explore Rotary's guidance and ask about current opportunities; no Bahari RYLA date or place is being advertised here.
