One shared goal.

On 24 October 2025, The Citizen reported on a polio vaccination awareness campaign at Mwananyamala Hospital in Dar es Salaam. The Rotary Club of Mikocheni led the effort alongside other Rotary and Rotaract clubs, including Bahari Youth.

The campaign reached 184 mothers across the participating clubs. The number belongs to a collective effort — a reminder that meaningful work often happens when organisations join forces.

The value of showing up.

For someone discovering Rotaract, this offers a concrete glimpse of service: people making time to support a shared community need, alongside partners.
