Getting started

Your first fellowship starts with hello.

New to Rotaract? Here's a simple way to take your first step, with room to ask every question.

Start with what interests you.

Maybe you want to volunteer. Maybe you're looking for friends who care about their community. Or perhaps you'd like to practise a skill and become a little more confident. You can begin with any of those reasons.

A few things to try.

  • Share a short introduction through the membership interest form.
  • Ask the team about the next gathering, location and what to expect.
  • Tell them you're new. It makes introductions easier.
  • Ask about participation, dues and the current membership process.
  • Take time to decide whether the club feels right for you.

A first step, without a commitment.

Expressing interest does not automatically enrol you as a member. It opens a conversation so you can learn about the club and the team can learn about you.

A little courage. A whole new community.

Your next chapter.
Our next wave.

Come with your curiosity. Bring your whole self.
There's room for you at Bahari Youth.

Let's make it happen
